Sunday
We arrived in Miami and went straight to our hotel, which was on Ocean Drive, across the street from the beach. We had to drop off our luggage and kill a few hours before we could get into our room. We had lunch at the hotel and went for a long walk, stopping in interesting shops to browse.
Here is Bob sitting at lunch at our hotel. Most hotels along Ocean drive have outdoor restaurants which extend right out to the sidewalk.
Monday
We left for the pier at 10 AM and found a Royal Caribbean person, to find out how to get Bob's antibiotics refrigerated ASAP. Once we made her understand how critical it was for them to be refrigerated immediately, we were allowed to check in early, we were probably the first two passengers to check in and get on board. They even got our room ready early, so we could go up to it. They are keeping the antibiotics in the frig at the front check-in desk, and we are keeping a few bags in the little frig in our room.
