Thursday
We spent another day at sea. We worked out in the fitness center and then lounged on the upper deck. It was a relaxing day. I saw a dolphin in the water while I was on the elliptical trainer!
Before dinner, Royal Caribbean had a reception for the guests who have been on more than one cruise with them. This is Bob's third, so we went. There was a couple there who have taken 60 cruises with RC, which is pretty amazing.
We ate dinner in the cafe again, to eat alone and faster than the dining room. Everyone we have spoken to has mentioned how slow the service is in the dining room. Probably it is partly due to the fact that we are having to make conversation with all these other people at our table!
The evening show was a British man who played the violin really well. He played with an orchestra, and did lots of familiar songs, like a Pops concert. It was very entertaining, except it was really loud.
Everyone on the ship is friendly and chatty, or you could call them nosy! We have met lots of folks. Bob's Patriots shirt, or the cast on his arm are the conversation starters. It is surprising how many people think he hurt his arm since we got on the boat. Three other men on the ship have casts on their arms, and we have spoken to all of them by now.
