We made a late stop in San Juan, where we got off and took a short cab ride to visit the El Morro Fort, a major that protected the Spanish in Puerto Rico from attacks by various nations such as Holland and England. Puerto Rico fell to the US in about 1898. Now it is a national historical site.

We walked back to Old San Juan, where our ship was docked because we realized it was a pretty short walk over to El Morro. We decided to stop in to Senor Frog's for a margarita, and ran into Alex and Hugh.We were given lovely balloon hats!
